Absolutely terrible in explaining even the most simple concepts. The author uses the oddest and least useful language for describing things, and is way too verbose to the point of exhaustion. Pennick's textbook is leagues better in terms of clarity, while also being reasonable in overall wordiness. I would never recommend this book.
Dr. Mattoon, GREAT text, VERY COMPREHENSIVE. I could bore everyone with the case details, but I open the book every week to refer back, to learn this or that. Anyone learning ultrasound or looking to refine their skills should have this as their first "go-to" on the shelf. Well done, Dr. Mattoon and collaborators. Thank you.
