The current bundle has a deceitful description. There is no any mention that books were already actively used, as a verbal workbook has a great number of remarks left from previous use. That makes it absolutely useless for anyone who takes the preparation for the test seriously and doesn’t want to repeat someones’ answers in his/ her own preparation process.

I used this book and had to take the GRE in one month. I needed a refresher since I had not taken a test in over 10 years. With somewhat minimal studying I was able to increase my test scores 7 points on the quantitative and 4 on the verbal. I highly recommend taking the online quizzes and reviewing the answers immediately - That is what worked best for me.

These are for the GMAT not the GRE as pictured!!!!

There is a lot of content that is useful and it is cheap, but there are a number of problems. Their material contradicts itself and has several errors that I have noticed that make it difficult to have confidence in the material. I also scheduled a call to make a learning plan (which seemed to be included free with the material) and was never called. When I tried to use the help material to see what I should do I could not find a relevant article and there was no way to contact them directly (they had a link to call us that just lead to the same article internal search).

The extraordinary growth of exchange traded funds (ETF) that track market, country, and sector indexes have introduced both flexibility and confusion to the choices that are available. Ferri does a good job of identifying the major index providers, what their indexes represent, the funds that track their movement, and the potential overlap and inefficiencies that result from mixing index providers. A student of modern portfolio theory (MPT), Ferri is an advocate of diversifying investments across several asset classes that respond a little differently at different times to reduce volatility and improve overall returns. It follows that the most important allocation decision is the percentage mix of stocks and bonds. In Chapter 15, "Designing Your Index Fund Portfolio", these allocation issues are tackled in some detail. Suffice to say a typical Ferri index portfolio may consist of some percentage of US stocks, foreign stocks, US bonds, and Real Estate Investment Trusts. This book is not long enough to adequately cover all the topics Ferri addresses, but it is an excellent starting point.

After reading most of the available books on index funds, and many of them give both the reasoning for, and the advantages of, investing in such funds, I believe this latest one is the best of the bunch. It provides not only the various powerful arguments for such investing, but also suggests specific portfolios of index funds for different classes of investors.Although each investor has his or her own individual situation, which must be carefully analyzed before any investment plan is generated or changed, Ferri's book is a good guide toward making the best choices.After studying the various investment choices available to the individual investor, I have concluded that unless the investor has some really specific and unique knowledge of any particular company, or possiby industry, investing in individual stocks or bonds can be highly speculative. Investing in mutual funds provides some degree of diversification, but most managed (not index) funds show a long term return which is significantly less than that of index funds, and those few managed funds that have "beaten the average" in the past, generally do not continue to do so. Moreover, the 1% or more of expense ratio of managed funds takes a really big bite over time when the compounding interest effect is taken into account.

I love Richard Ferri's books. This is one of them.If you are clueless about financial investment and want to get started on it, then read this book. Also recommended are All about Index Funds, Serious Money, and The ETF Book. Unlike books that promote sales pitch and sell garbages like (IBD: Investor's Business Daily or even Wall Street Journal) Ferri provides sound studies done on investment strategies, sound strategies, expectation and mindset.However it does not cover all the story. You still need to understand our debt-based economic structure and fractional banking monetary system to avoid heavy losses during severe recession or depression. I recommend The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve and Crash Proof: How to Profit From the Coming Economic Collapse (Lynn Sonberg Books) for that.

Wonderful missal for little ones who want to know the basics of the traditional Catholic mass.

Has pictures of what's happening in the extraordinary form of the mass with a one line explanation. Prayers as well. Maybe get a fewif you have a toddler in case they rip it.

Sweet book for younger kids. Our 6 year old has Down Syndrome and this is exactly what she needed for Mass. Its very simple with beautiful pictures!

The book is small and easily held by little hands and allows the children to try and follow along with the mass. There are a few pictures that they can color if they wanted to/are allowed to.

Great booklet for my grandchildren to learn about and follow the Catholic Mass. Excellent resource.

I got this book, yesterday, when it came out. I sat down to read it, during work, and found it hard to put down, even though I knew it would all come out right in the end.What is the point of a story where we know the ending? Because the journey is the reward, not the destination.Do you read stories to find out the ending? If so, then you will be disappointed with this book, because this comes out two years after the birth of Pal, so not only do we know he was born, we also know that Lucy succeeded in getting pregnant.With this book, Lucy has given us the background, how she wanted to be a mother, and how society treats both those who want to be mothers, as well as those that are mothers. Society has done so much less research on the woman's body that many things that we think that the medical field should know, they don't.But this does not tell you why this is such a fantastic book. This is so well done, because this is Lucy's journey to motherhood, with all the humor, and real life slice of life that she has exhibited in all her other work, and does to this day.This is the story of how Lucy does become pregnant, and all the observations about how life is in that state.It is a story that so many mothers, who gave birth, know so well.And yet each story is different.If you enjoyed her books about growing up, this is about growing up. If you have enjoyed Lucy's books about food, food is mentioned. If you enjoyed her book about her marriage, this continues that story.And if you enjoy her current stories about life with Pal, then you will love finding out how he came to be.

While this was a little traumatic to read during my own 38th week of pregnancy, this was the only pregnancy book I enjoyed reading (and heck, I think it was more informative than most 'factual' books). I was constantly annoying my husband by calling him over to show him different funny moments we could both relate to and there were definitely some tears shed. I've always been a fan of Knisley and was happy to be able to be pregnancy buddies with her, even if only from the page. Looking forward to her next book!

Knisley beautifully illustrates her journey into pregnancy and shares her difficult and, at times horrific, birth story with a unique gift for humorous realism. She also includes lots of interesting tidbits about the history of human reproductive knowledge. I adore her candor and that, despite challenging circumstances, I always finish reading her memoirs feeling refreshed with a sense that all will be well in the world.

I have been a fan of Lucy's for years, but find that each book she releases is unfailing LUCY & I devour it immediately. This book was honest & lighthearted, gritty & sad, and overall just wonderful. Lucy Knisley doesn't stray away from difficult topics or emotions. Instead, she delivers her honest account of what it means to be pregnant and for the long and rocky journey many people have in doing so. I loved all the gross and strange details, the weird history of women's bodies and pregnancy myths, and the love that was woven throughout. Absolutely would recommend to anyone who likes books, comics, memoirs, real conversations about experiences, moms/dads/caregivers and the many of us that fall in between.

I have never had a child and have never wanted children. But I still enjoyed the heck out of this book. I have read other books by Lucy so when I learned about this one I ordered it. Regardless of what your feelings are about children, this is a fantastic read. Lucy tells compelling stories regardless of subject matter.

Parts of this book will be relatable to any (new) parent. She has an intense story to tell, though. I’m glad to be reading this now that I know I’m done having any more kids but will be eagerly looking forward to future books about her parenting journey.

I read this book to its completion in one sitting. This is a first Lucy Knisley book I've had the pleasure of reading, recommended by an artist I follow on social media. It was like I was reading a pregnancy story about a dear friend. And even though I cried multiple times throughout the story, it still made me feel joyous and wanting more. This book is great even if you don't want to be pregnant. I wish all pregnancy memoirs were illustrated by comic artists, especially women.

This book is a very well created knowledge that I didn’t know I needed. I recommend this book for anyone who has been pregnant, trying to, or are pregnant.
